Course Overview
Cambridge DELTA Module One is a theory-based qualification that develops candidates’ understanding of language, language learning, and English language teaching methodology. It covers areas such as grammar, lexis, phonology, discourse, second language acquisition, and professional practice. Assessed by Cambridge through a written examination, the module focuses on analysing language, evaluating teaching approaches, and applying theory to classroom contexts.
Input sessions run two mornings each week from 09:00 to 13:30. Group projects, exam practice tasks and indpendent reading can then be completed at times convenient to you.
When candidates decide to enter the exam, a Cambridge exam fee of £197 applies for those sitting the exam in Istanbul. Candidates taking the exam at a different centre should check local invigilation fees. The exam is held on the first Wednesday in June and December each year.
