Course Overview
Cambridge DELTA Module Two is a practice-based qualification designed to develop advanced classroom teaching skills. Candidates plan, teach, and evaluate a range of lessons with real learners, demonstrating informed professional judgement grounded in ELT theory. Assessment is through an externally moderated teaching portfolio, with an emphasis on reflective practice and principled decision-making. The course is flexible and can be completed over a shorter or longer period, with portfolio submission available in June or October, within a maximum one-year duration. Teaching practice may be assessed via Zoom or Teams, or through live-streamed face-to-face lessons. Candidates based in Istanbul may be able to complete lesson assessments in person. Course input is primarily self-study, with optional live Zoom sessions depending on cohort demand. When ready to submit the teaching portfolio, a Cambridge entry fee of £215 is payable.
